The room was clean with a nice screened porch overlooking a boat dock. The resort has an old Florida look to it and the lobby has a classy 1950s 60s look. Feb 25, 2023 · My sister and I love the Port of the Island. We have stayed there 4 times. Once in the hotel but three times in a cottage. Don't expect perfect and you will love it! The marina is beautiful and the Adventure Paddle office is here. The swimming pool is so nice. Great location for the Everglades.
