Malaysian nature society - It was established in 1940 (Guerin, 2017a) as a non-profit and member-based organization whose mission is to promote the conservation of Malaysia's natural heritage (Malaysian Nature Society, 2023a). To date, the membership spans over 2100 members with 14 branches nationwide (Malaysian Nature Society, 2021).
